Samsung’S INTERACTIVE Design Studio
Overview
At Razorfish, I led internal project management for Samsung’s Bespoke Design Studio—an interactive customization tool that lets users design their own refrigerators and appliances in real time. I was responsible for solving the creative-to-dev workflow bottleneck.
What I Learned
I learned how to untangle creative chaos and implement structure that empowers teams to move faster without losing quality. I also gained experience in aligning agency and client teams under one cohesive process while keeping the user experience front and center.
What Made It Challenging
The creative team was spread across U.S. time zones, making collaboration tricky. With no consistent asset management system, files were shared via email, Teams, or Box—causing version issues and delays when teammates weren’t online.
IMPACT & KEY RESULTS
I implemented a standardized file-sharing workflow that included a centralized folder system in Box, naming conventions, and clear expectations for file handoff and ownership. This immediately improved turnaround times, reduced rework, and ensured that developers always had the most up-to-date assets. With this streamlined process in place, the team was able to deliver a premium customization tool that aligned perfectly with Samsung’s brand vision and timeline.
