About the Artwork
A light circle sits above a horizontal line, its reflection breaking apart beneath it. Above the surface, the form appears whole and recognizable. Below it, that same form becomes fragmented and less certain.
The reflection represents the parts of ourselves that are harder to see clearly, including what we suppress, overlook, or have yet to understand. The surface separates the two views, but they remain connected. The broken reflection doesn't make the circle itself incomplete.
We don't have to understand every part of ourselves to accept that it belongs. Even in uncertainty, even when we struggle to recognize ourselves, we are whole.
